Airplanes that hit targets, flew through tunnels, and glided the longest distance earned prize money for the companies that manufactured them. Success of their companies depended upon understanding the laws of supply and demand, cooperation, and managing time and money. The EL Air Fari Olympics were a huge success for all companies involved. Christian Heaton, uncle of one of our Monday students and a producer for The Amazing Race, stopped by our Monday class to answer questions, tell a few behind the scenes secrets and give students even more reason to want to travel the world. Paper airplane companies bartered, borrowed or bought each item required to build their planes before they began the final manufacturing process for our EL Airfare. The last day of Special Education Services in our district is May 20th. Our last days of EL for this school year are as follows:
