This week held our annual King Tut Day celebration! Here are a few chosen reflections.
When I opened the mummy's tomb...
- I thought, "Wow, he really needs a makeover!"
- he said to me, "That was the longest game of hide and seek I have ever played!"
- he jumped out, yawned, and said, "I hate it when you people wake me up before my alarm goes off!"
- three teenage boys with fangs walked out and said, "Dude, mummies are so out of style."
- I saw a mummy that looked a lot like Darth Vader and it said to me, "I am your Mummy!"
- he said, "Brrrrr! Where is my 2-ply jacket?"
- I found a 30 inch plasma TV, a reclining couch, and an Apple computer! Those Egyptians really had the life back then.
- I said, "Boy, you need some concealer and some blush!"
- I was surprised to see a movie set. The mummy yelled, "That's a wrap!"
- I found my cranky old neighbor's wife. I knew he was old, but not that old.
- the mummy said, "Finally, tell the doctor that I have healed and I am ready to remove the bandages."
- a man dressed in toilet paper jumped out at me and said, "Wait, the show starts at four and I'm not in coustume!"
